Dr. Kiersten Lofton
MD, FAAP
A Charleston native, Dr. Lofton initially studied chemical engineering at Clemson — engineering was her plan B, but pediatrics had her heart from the start. She earned her MD at the Medical University of South Carolina, completed her pediatric residency at Palmetto Health Children's Hospital, and joined Palmetto Pediatrics in 2014. As a mom of four, she brings a deeply practical lens to her work: she champions easy access to care through the patient portal, leads seasonal flu shot clinics, and loves helping families navigate the ordinary rhythm of pediatrics — sports physicals, school forms, the nose bulb that actually works. She's a former board member of Carolina Sunshine Wishing Well for Children, a nonprofit granting wishes to South Carolina kids facing serious illness. She and her husband Trey have twins Sadie and Alex, plus Charlotte and Parker.

She joined Palmetto Pediatrics in 2019.
Dr. Page brings small-town warmth and a big-picture perspective to her approach to pediatric care. Faith, family, and community are at the center of her life, and she is actively involved with her church’s medical team while also enjoying opportunities for community-based health outreach.
Life at home is filled with spending time with family and their Boykin spaniel, Gamecock football, attending sporting events, and playing the piano.
