Dr. Kelsey McDill is originally from Missouri, where she pursued her undergraduate and medical degrees at University of Missouri. She and her husband moved to South Carolina in 2015 to start her pediatric residency at Palmetto Health Richland. She joined Palmetto Pediatrics in 2018. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and sons, painting, reading, watching Mizzou and Chiefs football, and cooking.

MD, FAAP

Dr. Radiance Vafai is a native of northern Vermont. She attended the University of North Carolina-Asheville for her undergraduate studies followed by the University of North Carolina School of Medicine at Chapel Hill, graduating in 2001. She completed her residency in pediatrics in 2004 at Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia, S.C. She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Vafai has a working proficiency in Spanish and has spent time in different countries of Latin America. After residency, she practiced pediatrics in Lexington and Columbia until she, her husband, and sons moved overseas for a decade, returning home to Columbia in 2023. She loves the diversity of pediatrics, from newborns to young adults, and feels it is a privilege to help families navigate the many challenges of raising children at this time.
